Product Page 3.0: Part 7 - Website Settings Tab

The Website Settings tab for the Product Page 3.0 allows you to put in your SEO metadata description (formerly known as Short Description), set your website Categories, add your other descriptions, create Product Forms that customers can use to send you information about their purchases, and you can enter Suggested Products.

Website Information

The functions in the upper area of this tab allow you to do the following important settings:

Live Website Product Page Link - Click this link to copy a preview link to the product's web page.
Preview - Click this button to open a preview of what the product will look like on your website.
SEO Meta Description - This area allows you to enter a short description that will be used for the product's SEO metadata. It is recommended to describe the product's most important details concisely. You are limited to a total of 256 characters including spaces and punctuation.
Category - Click this to choose as many website Categories as you might need for the product. Once selected, they will display in removable listings as pictured above.
Offline Reserve - If your inventory for the product is limited and you want to make sure you have inventory for sale in your brick and mortar store, enter a quantity here and that inventory will not appear on the website as being available for sale.
Unlimited Web Inventory - If you are able to restock the item quickly, turn this on and the product listing on your website will allow customers to purchase the item even if its actual inventory reaches zero.
Show Price on Website - This setting is on by default, but if you are not able to display your prices for an item online you can turn this off so the price won't display.
Show Add to Cart Button - If you just want to display product information on your website but you don't want to sell the item online, you can turn this setting off.
Digital Download - If the product is a digital file, you can turn this setting on and upload the file. The file can be any type and can be up to 100 megabytes in size. The system provides security for the download, restricting the number of downloads to the IP Address of the customer.

Product Forms

You are able to create online forms that display on the web page for the product that your customers can use to give you information about their preferences for the item.

Click the Add button to choose the type of form you want to create. You can choose a Single Line Input form field for short answers, Paragraph Input for longer answers, Checkbox for a simple yes/no question, and Dropdown Box if you want to offer the customer several choices. For all form types except the Checkbox, you can check a box to make it Required.

Product Description

You can enter a Product Description (formerly known as Long Description) of any length in this area, complete with images, embedded videos, and whatever links you might need. If you want a unique description that is created for you by AI, click the Make Description button. Please note, doing this will replace whatever is already in the Product Description with the AI-created content. The content created will be text-only, but you can add whatever media and links you like after it's been created. Give it a try!

Brief Description Below Add-to-Cart Button

You can enter content here that will appear in the area below your Add to Cart button. It's a fairly narrow area that displays at a width of around 500 pixels at most, see the website preview of the example product for how content displays in this area.

Suggested Products

You can enter any number of suggested products. Search by keyword or identifier code (SKU, UPC, Manufacturer Number) for products that are saved to your system that you would recommend to customers viewing this product.
