If you want to list your products with Locally.com and have your products in Rain POS automatically link to your account with Locally, the system supports integration.
Locally.com is basically a 'finder' service for products and items you might be interested in and how they can be found in your area. So people go to locally.com, enter their location, and then search for items for sale in their area, and the service will tell them which stores carry the item starting with the closest stores first. It's extremely convenient!

Locally also partners with popular brands and provides a link on the brand’s product pages. For example, a customer could be looking at a pair of running shoes and under the description of the product where the buying options are displayed a link will appear informing the customer that local stores may have that product in stock.
You can see the link on the brand's website for the Locally listing of the item in the lower right:
Using the link, you can see local availability:
There are normally two options for purchasing a product through Locally. The first option is to purchase online and pickup in store. We currently do not support this method. The other option is for the customer to reserve online and pick up in store. The store will receive a notification that a Locally order has been received, like receiving a web order placed through the store’s own website. The store will then need to review the order details, and either accept or reject the order. Locally orders are time sensitive, so if no action has been taken in the allotted time, the order will automatically be rejected.
Orders List Page – Locally orders appear at the top under “Time Sensitive Orders”
If the customer clicks into the transaction before accepting or rejecting from the list page, they will see a pop-up requiring them to accept or reject the order.
Once the order has been accepted the order will have the same functionality as a regular web order. When the customer comes in to pick up and pay for the order, that order can be taken into the till and purchased.
Please Note: Stores have 8 business hours to accept an order before the order is automatically cancelled. Fees may apply to orders where no action was taken. Please review Locally terms and conditions for more information before claiming your account.
The first step in enabling Locally is to claim your account. Locally will send stores the link to start this process. After claiming your account and setting up contact info, store hours and any other relevant information, stores will be able to start accepting Locally orders in the system.
Because Locally orders are time sensitive and to ensure you are notified of new orders, please visit the settings page to check that the proper notification settings are enabled. You can find this page by clicking the profile icon in the upper right corner of the page, then navigating to website settings > Order Notifications.
You may also want to check that you have updated email and phone numbers where order notifications can be sent. In the same settings page, navigate to the Shopping Cart tab and make any necessary updates to those fields.
