Website Settings: Order Notifications

The system allows you to send a variety of notifications about website orders to your customers, and you can configure different conditions and time frames for them to be sent.

You can get to this part of the system by clicking on the Admin Button with your username in the upper right and then going to Settings > Website > Order Notifications.

 

Configuring Your Order Notifications

 

Here are your options for the configuration of your Order Notifications via Email:

It's a good idea to have notifications sent by email whenever an order is Shipped and whenever an order is Ready for Pickup, if you use that option. For your Pickup Reminders, you can schedule those to repeat on whatever days of the week you like and you can also set what time of day the notifications will be sent.

You can have the system email notification if an order has been Picked Up, if you like. This is usually used in cases where the customer is having someone else pick the order up, so if that situation happens for you, this can be a nice courtesy to provide. It is also courteous to notify your customers if an order gets Cancelled for any reason.

 

Here are your options for the configuration of Order Notifications via text messaging:

You will see this option of you have Text Messaging enabled for your system. This feature is part of our Marketing Package.

If you enable the Send Text Messages feature, the system will send notifications by text message to customers who have a mobile phone number saved in the system. The notifications will follow the same settings used in the email setup section, and will just be duplicated via text.
