Make Phone Number Required for PayPal Orders
October 01, 2024Follow these steps to require a customer phone number for web orders that use PayPal as the processor:

Log into your PayPal account.

Click the Gear icon in the upper right.
- In the Account menu, click Seller Tools.
- In the list of tools, click Website Preferences.
- Scroll down to the Contact Telephone Number section and click to select the On (Required Field) option.
Your change is automatically saved and shoppers will be required to enter a phone number when they use PayPal to buy from you online.
